What Are Classic Lash Extensions?
Classic lash extensions are the original 1:1 technique. Your artist bonds one lightweight extension to each healthy natural lash. You get longer, darker, more defined lashes that still look like your own, like wearing mascara without the clumps or smudging. At My Lash Studio in Coral Springs, a classic full set uses about 80 single (1D) extensions per eye. Our softer Cute Set is a semi-full option for a more subtle look.

Classic lashes suit clients who want an everyday, polished look that works at the office, the gym and on the weekend. They are a good first set for anyone new to extensions. They also work well if you already have a healthy number of natural lashes. If your natural lashes are sparse or short, ask about our Cute Set or a hybrid set for extra fullness.
The Classic Lash Process
A classic full set takes about 90 minutes, and a Cute Set takes about 60. Most clients relax or nap the whole time.
- Consultation: We talk about the look you want, your eye shape and your lifestyle.
- Prep: Your natural lashes are cleansed and your lower lashes are covered with gel pads.
- Application: We isolate each natural lash and attach a single extension a safe distance from the lid, choosing the length and curl for your eye.
- Finishing: We check every lash for separation, then brush and style.
- Plan your fills: We help you book your next fill before you leave.
Aftercare for Classic Lashes
- Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours so the adhesive can fully cure.
- Skip steam, saunas and hot yoga for 24–48 hours.
- Use oil-free cleansers and makeup remover near the eyes.
- Brush lashes gently each morning with a clean spoolie.
- Never pull or pick at extensions. Book a removal if you want them off.
- Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction.
Classic sets need fills every 2–3 weeks to stay full, because your natural lashes shed in a normal growth cycle.
